“Holidays in the Beyond” Sweepstakes Rules
No purchase necessary to enter or win.
A purchase or payment will not improve your chances of winning.
1. Eligibility
Holidays in the Beyond (“The Sweepstakes”) is open to legal residents of the United States and Europe who are at least eighteen years old at the time of entry. The Sweepstakes is subject to federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
2. Sponsor
The Sweepstakes is sponsored by Cortopia Studios (“The Sponsor”).
3. Agreement to Official Rules
Participation in The Sweepstakes constitutes the entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding. Winning a prize is contingent upon being compliant with these Official Rules and fulfilling all other requirements set forth herein.
4. Sweepstakes Period
The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:000 AM EST on December 22, 2019 and ends at 11:59:59 PM EST on January 1, 2020. There is a limit of one entry per person per day. Each day has a new prize and a new winner. The period for each daily prize begins at 12:00:00 AM EST that day and ends at 11:59:59 PM EST that day.
5. How to Enter
To enter The Sweepstakes, you must either:
-On Facebook, comment on the daily prize post and tag a friend.
or
-On Twitter, retweet the daily prize announcement, mention a friend in a reply to the daily prize announcement, and follow @WandsGame and @CortopiaStudios.
Fulfilling either of the above conditions is required for an entry to be valid. Each entry is only valid the day that it’s made and does not carry over into following days. To have a chance at winning the next day’s prize, the player must enter the Sweepstakes again on that day. Each player can enter once per day for the duration of the Sweepstakes.
6. Selecting a Winner
A winner will be chosen randomly by the Sponsor from the list of that day’s qualified entrants within 24 hours of the prize period ending. The odds of being selected depend on the number of entries received.
7. Winner Notification
The winner will be announced by the Sponsor on Twitter and Facebook the day they are chosen. The announced winner must contact the Sponsor via direct message within two days (48 hours) of being announced in order to claim their prize. If the announced winner fails to contact the Sponsor within the required time period, or if the announced winner does not fulfill the aforementioned requirements, the potential winner forfeits the prize. Prizes will be fulfilled approximately 4-8 weeks after the conclusion of the Sweepstakes.
8. General Conditions
In the event that the operation, security, or administration of the Sweepstakes is impaired in any way for any reason, including, but not limited to fraud, virus, bugs, or other technical problem, or in the event the Sweepstakes is unable to run as planned for any other reason, as determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion, the Sponsor may suspend the Sweepstakes to address the issue or terminate the Sweepstakes and aware the prizes at random among eligible, non-suspect entries received. The Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or operation of the Sweepstakes or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be in violation of criminal and civil law, and should, such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages (including attorney’s fees) and any other remedies for any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.
9. Release and Limitations of Liability
By entering you agree to release and hold harmless The Sponsor and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from (i) such entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof, (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunctioning of any computer, cable, network, hardware or software; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions or telephone or Internet service; (iv) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Promotion; (v) electronic or human error which may occur in the administration of the Promotion or the processing of entries.
10. Disputes
THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF SWEDEN, WITHOUT RESPECT TO CONFLICT OF LAW DOCTRINES. As a condition of participating in this Sweepstakes, participant agrees that any and all disputes which cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in Stockholm, Sweden having jurisdiction. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances will participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, other than participant’s actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e. costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes), and participant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.
11. Prize Delivery
The Sponsor is not responsible for any customs fees, taxes, or other costs due upon delivery of the prize. In the event that a prize is returned undeliverable, the Winner forfeits the prize.
12. Privacy
Information collected from entrants is subject to the sponsor’s privacy policy, which can be found at https://www.wandsgame.com/eula/. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook, Twitter, or the manufacturers of the prizes. You understand that you are providing your information to the owner of this sweepstakes and not to Facebook or Twitter.
